Scabies is an infection of the skin by a small mite, which is transmitted by close physical contact. The mite is a flat structure in the skin and lays its eggs in the nest. Two to four weeks after infection, itchy red bumps or blisters. These bumps are an allergic reaction to insects. New insects hatch and can spread to other areas of the skin from scratches.

Scabies is caused by a small insect, a species of mites can be regarded as having had contact with someone who does not already been infected by an outbreak of mites.
Itching? If you think the itching is only a layer of dry, dead cells that protect against infection of the wound, as a shield against bacteria and other germs.
Contact (usually direct) to someone who has scabies.
I think there is a deficiency of Vit C. Low I may be wrong.
